DIY Rain Barrels
The famous Do-it Yourself Rain Barrels! NAACAP and The Conservation Corps of Newfoundland and Labrador Green Team have teamed up together to produce useful resource materials to help the community conserve water by making their own Rain Barrels.
The barrel depicted was spray painted using nothing more than leaves as stencils, and the creativity of the team!
There is a brochure that is intended for double sided printing that should be folded in half to size 8.5″ x 11″. There is also a full color 12″ x 18″ poster, which can be downloaded from the following links:
Rain Barrel painting is a great activity for friends and family alike! During the 2011 Lantern Festival, NAACAP and the Green Team painted a rain barrel with the aide of all the friends and family of the Victoria Park Lantern Festival!
